Nah I don't think so. The ending isn't... BIG enough. Shambles, now THAT would do the trick... _________________ Well if you're just gonna be like that

Oh yeah...Shambles...I hope they don't change that too much. It was more or less perfect on Pilot. _________________

did i read somewhere that the pilot shambles was secretly only part of an unfinished longer song - the 5min version i take it.
but live iv only ever seen it as the pilot track....and its pretty well perfect as it is....whats the longer version like ?
would it not be better suited as a centre piece to the album rather than an ending....with lissom slo as a coda (ala pilot shambles) |

I thought Shambles was gonna be the last track on Racecar, gutted when i didn't see it on there, then i thought it would probably be hidden, but when i heard Dusk i knew it wouldn't, Dusk is a beauty of a track.
EDIT: Banner held high would be a good finisher, with the bits at the end where Jamie talks he could go like "Thanks alot" "Thanks for listening"

Lissom Slo is a bugger of a track. I don't think it's good or long enough for album but too cool for b-side. _________________ Stay Puffed |

Yeah, they'd only just written it when it came to recording Pilot so they just did the first 2 mins or so, or so I'm made to believe.
The 5 min vesion is veeeeeeeeeeery different... _________________ Well if you're just gonna be like that

some would describe it as audio masturbation
and shambles would make a great album ender
or blitzkreig, i remember thinking it would be a good album ender when i heard it at the westy. _________________ <@ZoFreX> goddammit

lol well it starts the same, then just sort of lasts another 3 minutes in a similar vein, not easy to describe really, then it gets all euphoric (?) at the end, tis very good. _________________ <@ZoFreX> goddammit

iv not heard the "new" shambles...but that description does sound like a better ending then blitzkreig would provide
big building "euphoric" closer . . . or a more straight ahead rocker |

when they were soundchecking at newcastle students union on the FK tour.
i saw them play though blitzkreig, keep it to yourself , moving to blackwater and jamie did a funny little rap about type-o negative.
i think it was the first time id ever heard moving to blackwater as well come to think of it |
