Hi all,

I see people are having trouble signing into the board and staying signed in. I have written this small walkthrough on maybe helping you with the situation.

First im assuming your using the latest version of Internet Explorer (Version 6) If not then please download the latest version from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/critical/ie6sp1/default.mspx

Ric has made the address http://forum.wordsfromreuben.com auto forward to http://www.wordsfromreuben.com/phpbb2 so the cookie that the site uses
will be configured for this address.

Step 1:

First thing to do is open the internet options screen as illustrated in the screen below

Step 2:
On the screen that appears after step 1 click on the privacy tab (marked number 1) Then click the button marked Number 2.

Step 3
Where going to tell your browser to accept cookies from the reuben website regardless of your browser security settings. This screen is pretty simple. Just add 'http://www.wordsfromreuben.com/phpbb2' into the text box provided (marked 3) and press the allow button (marked 4) then press ok (marked 5)

Now try logging in and closing your browser and then coming back to the forum. Remember to tick the "Log me on automatically each visit:' tick box otherwise your cookie will not stay Smile

Hope this helps some people??

1. start > control panel > add/remove programs
2. select netscape 7
3. "uninstall"
4. use IE

I don't have any disks to re-install it. Can I download it? I just use mozilla, IE always caused problems for me. My computer is just a bit mashed up, end of story.
