|

I've seen a load of Reuben items going for ridiculous amounts of money, some of which can be bought from the shops for normal price.
** Racecar LP 12" vinyl
All 1000 copies of this are signed, so if sellers on ebay claim their copy is "rare" because it's signed, it is not. You can get this for around £12 or less from loads of online shops. Amazon being one of them.
** Pilot EP
Unless the copy you see on Ebay is one of the first 500, it is not worth more than £5 as you can get a brand new copy from Badmusic for that much. Even if a seller claims that they are selling one of the first 500, I'd recommend that anyone thinking of bidding emails the seller to confirm that there are 5 tracks on the cd.
The best way to be sure you're getting a rare copy is to get hold of a picture of the disc as the rare ones are slightly different (notice the clear inner circle on the rare disc) :
Rare disc: Standard disc:
** Two Songs For Free promo CD
Anyone claiming that this CD is rare doesn't know anything about it....! There are 20,000 copies of it in existance which actually makes it the least rare Reuben CD. This CD is being given out at some Reuben gigs and lots of other band's gigs (via Xtaster street teamers)
** Please Take Off Your Shoes Before Entering compilation album
[features Miffy In Auschwitz]
There are still LOADS of copies of this available from Badmusic. Don't buy it from anywhere unless it's less than £5...
** "Limited" numbers

is the Take off your shoes compilation worth spending lots on because on the caretaker site it says:
"To order a copy, send a cheque for £6 payable to "R Melia" to
Badmusic,
PO Box 436,
Godalming,
GU7 1GL
Please allow 28 days for delivery and don't forget to include your name and address with the cheque."
Or is this just an old outdated page? |

Does that compilation have Reuben on?
I can't believe you people are buying stuff off Ebay for so much. It's insane. |

I love Vex Red
Saw Septembre with Reuben @ Liverpool University on 3rd June (I think) was a great night Besides the first band who were a gang of girl-losers called "who shot cindy" and i'd like to shoot them _________________ www.myspace.com/karleleven |

Is scared of the police rare?
I've heard conflicting views of how many were pressed.
I have to admit I payed £18 off ebay for it a about a year ago.
What is a pisser is that I talked to jamie about it once and he said he had tons of them, in a drawer at home.. _________________ Double bollox ! |

500 is rubbish
750 is probably the number that went in the shops as quite a few were sent out as promos.
i'm 99% sure 1000 were pressed. |

thinking back it may have been the ebay guy that said 500 in his ad, so yet another reason to watch out for these sharks. _________________ Double bollox ! |
