for a long time now my fave single has been the lets stop hanging out single, its amazing, i love the fact that you can go mental to it and then numb at four in the morning like kind of calms you down at the end! oh i love it, dont get me wrong i love everything reuben have ever produced, i just think that lsho stands out!

[edited to add FK to poll - ric]

I like the cleaner guitar sound of the guitars on the early singles/EP. I voted for Stux because the guitar is really killer.

As a single, it's 'Stux'. Can't fault 'Banner Held High'...

But as a song, 'Stuck In My Throat'. That blew me away when I first heard it live, and the recorded version's no different.

Hmm!
I'm gonna vote for SIMT so I'm following the herd...nah, I'm really going for it because it blew me away, and was the first song that got me genuinly interested in Reuben's sound, plus it's got a pretty good version of SOTP on it. Although Stux and co were really good, SIMT opened my (and probably a lot more people's) ears to what these guys can do.

voted for lets stop hanging out.
why?
its got a good balance of three sides of reuben
poppy-hard-rock : lsho
introspective acoustic : numb at 4
harder-rock-beast : as5

plus its a really good tune
...tho i must admit that i dont own sotp or stux as of yet Embarassed

b sides definately scared of the police but overall stuck in my throat wins merely because that song is just mind blowing and leaves the other singles looking really amature

I would say Scared of the Police. Amazing debut single, great video, great b-sides, great song in general.

Definately, because the b-sides are fucking brilliant, all the tracks on the single are among my favourite.

Eating Only Apples - classic, even made it onto the album.
Wooden Boy - Come on, just fucking brilliant song.
Scared of the Police - ALWAYS amazing live.

Well I shall go with SIMT. Why? 'Cause it's more rockin then the others. If we're taking B sides into account then my votes for SOTP for the beauty of the two B-sides which (if you ask me) are far better than SOTP.
