CD copies of Racecar bought in the first week are slightly special: the sleeve doesn't quite fit over Jamie's face, and the catalogue number isn't included on the spine.
The copies printed after them corrected both these errors, basically.
The LP version is hand signed by the band, and there were only a 1000 copies made.

So there, in as much detail as I can give you, is the difference between the versions.

Thanx! I have the first copy, with the shiny inlay and with the fold that doesn't quite fit over Jamie's face. Didn't notice the catalogue number though.

And I also have another version, which has the matted inlay, and the fold that covers Jamie's face. Now, all I need is a hand signed version and I think I'm all done! Cool

Not bad for an Aussie fan!

I have the glow-in-the-dark version with built in pocket-knife and compass.

Ah, but if you're lost in the woods, will the monkey point to North?

pfhfhft 1000 copies

that's so un-limited

plus it would've been easier to hand-sign 300 copies

I had the matted version signed and the glossy 'rare' one, but I gave that one away.
