well, i recently saw biffy clyro (which are still amazing on stage), oceansize supported by the worldonfire (which i didn't know before the concert; afterwards i almost liked them better than oceansize..), dredg and the casting out.

what i'm really looking forward to seeing soon hopefully is far, coheed & cambria and jónsi.

and yeah, i'd love to see bands like fighstar, fighting with wire, or sucioperro. unfortunately the chances are bad they'll ever come to austria Sad

I'm actually the same, since the Reuben split I haven't followed music as much as I used to; instead I'm listening more to old albums from bands like Clutch, Faith No More, Alice in Chains etc. Haven't listened to a new band for ages!

Same here, although really my days of gigging and obsessing about music were over before Reuben split.

Seen Frank a couple of times. I also saw Feeder playing as Renegades in a 500 capacity venue. I used to be a massive fan but never got round to seeing them, so that was awesome. Mostly new material, but they rolled out stuff from Swim that I never thought I'd get to hear live. I went effing mental.

You are fucking kidding me...I followed Feeder from Echo Park through to Pushing the Senses and all I wanted was to hear them play some of their old material from Swim or Polythene...I even bought a day ticket for T in the Park SPECIFICALLY to see them cos they'd been playing Descend at all other festivals that year...and they played Waiting For FUCKING Changes!

My favourite live acts currently are Frank Turner, Baddies and Flobots.
Flobots in particular are really underrated musicians ('Handlebars' isn't that great, try 'Defend Atlantis') but they wont be your thing is you're not a fan of hippityhoppitypunkrock.

Seconded, they're fucking awesome. Meat Balloon is a reet class song with an excellent video (try the vimeo version over the youtube one). Also recommended:
ARTIST - RECOMMENDED SONG
Cars on Fire - Burn the Suits
Turbowolf - Ancient Snake
The Computers - Teenage Tourettes Camp
Chickenhawk - Scorpieau (for some reason listed as Chicken Hawk - Sporpieau on spotify...)

Might come back with some more if I can remember any.
