Couple of things I've noticed that will be of interest to some people...

Looks like someone from the band may be appearing at this show - maybe even more than one of them (I'm thinking Guy and Jon probably but you never know).

Also:

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=179410399&blogId=518520435

The above link is a blog by Hold Your Horse Is with the tracklisting for the Kerbdog Tribute Album that Jamie is appearing on. Out February next year it seems. Few other good bands on there too.

That's about it for now. Expect to hear Freeze The Atlantic's recent recordings any day now hopefully.

Damn, wish I'd known Frank's Sally was going to be on another album by a company who offers downloads, else I wouldn't have spent good money on this crappy Memoria CD...

How can I buy a ticket to the christmas gig in aldershot online? i've been onto the west end centre and it only has the dates up to the 16th of december...

I would hope the date is yet to be added but they have gigs in may advertised for sale on there, and the poster is up so I don't know what to think.

Hannah's newer stuff is pretty good, would be worth checking out for that as well.

Go. Everyone should go because Toby Hayes a.k.a. Shoes and Socks Off is a genius.

(Though damn, I'm already double booked for that day.)

Just noticed - Hold Your Horse Is are managed by someone with the email address, j.pearce@audioroyale.com - I assume that would be our boy Jon?

there is a hold your horse is beatcast. they are a 3 piece with no reuben or any other mentioned members. So i'm thinking one off big collaboration.

just reading all your banter, and thought i would sign up to clear things up a bit...
forums are like over hearing someone you don't know talking about you in the street ha!

i play bass in 'hold your horse is'.
jon pearce is our manager and an old friend of our drummer chris.
chris teched for reuben... that's the connection!

this christmas show is a one off that we have put together with the help of jon, just a bit of fun really! wanted to get all our friends involved and just make it a real party. we aren't playing any of our songs, just having people 'tag' in to play covers with us, kind of like wrestling haha...

you should all get your fancy dress on and come out and get your drink on!

i have 'leaked' which members specifically from each band are involved to a small time rock webzine thing, who kindly did a news article on the show for us... so if you have a bit of a dig and a search you can find out!
ohh mysterious!

just out of interest, what do you reubenites think about the noise hyhi make? we are all fans of reuben, but i don't think we particularly sound like them so i'm curious! (do not judge us on that beatcast video, that is probably one of the sloppiest/worst sets we have played this year!)

hope that all made some sense!

and to second other peoples comments kind of,

both Hannah Shark (ex-Arthur) and Shoes and Socks Off (ex-Strobe 45, Push To Fire, Meet Me in St Louis, Shield Your Eyes) are completely awesome and lovely people, (as well as our lost infantry and stagecoach) so if you do plan on going, definately go for the whole thing!

Very Happy

Hi James, can't make the gig myself but I'm digging your band's sound Smile

You're preaching to the converted here; the forum's rife with Hannah and SASO fan-boys and -girls!
