There are some tabs on the net, I found the other day seem alright. See my guitar playing is very ropey but I think I could sing the hell out of it...I guess I could just do an accapella version Confused

You know, I think that would be awesome. Do it!

Either way I've kinda stepped down from this. My version's aren't going to be any good so I'm going to finish off my Death of a star I was working on (I went with electric in the end, if anyone cared) and I'll put it on a hosting site or something Smile.

Go faithful or go for a new interpretation??????

Right, shit! Where the fuck have I been? Actually don't ask.
Many things have happened, and this idea is now full of people willing to contribute. Awesome!
I think a good idea, would be to put the songs upon a hosting site, however that is about where my technical know how comes to an end :S Anyone capable of helping to set up that sort of a thing? PM me if it that is the case.

I did an acoustic cover of Blamethrower a while back, then my hard drive with the file went and broke. Sad

If this goes ahead though I can always rerecord another one if people like.

PMs dont seem to be working so i'll make this public

I could setup some sort of website and hosting until Jan 2010 if this is going to kick off properly? I dont want to spend ages making a site if its not going to be happening?

You dont need anything fancy like the official reuben site, just something to list the songs and related information and the downloads obviously.

Ok so are people now going ahead with recordings now? Doesn't have to be fancy or a new interpretation just something other people can appreciate and something we can all be proud of Smile.

I haven't seen anyone say that they're going ahead with it yet! Can we get
a list of songs with confirmation and username?
i.e. Death of a star - Clean
Don't want colour_golden or anyone else going to all this trouble for hardly anyone to participate!

Also is anyone working on pictures/artwork?

I'd love to do a cover but I lack talent in singing and playing guitar etc Sad. What if I do one in MS Sam?

My band covered Keep It To Yourself a while back, we'd be up for doing that, or any other song!

Here's a bad live version of KITY, apologies for the singing, i'd gone without sleep for over 24 hours, in fact, most of us had! :p

I've been working on some simple acoustic covers of boy and Song For Saturday, as the latter is probably less frequently covered, i would love to put that forward when I have an ok recording of it.

my band covered parties break hearts, but we were pretty bad at it, although it could be re done as we have a better drummer now. we are thinking of trying stuck in my throat but surely this is a little clique and pointless for this covers album.

Does rick know about this? might he be able to et something organised, maybe get a proper list of what songs are wanted?

I don't want to speak on Ric's behalf, but without wanting to cause offence, I suspect Ric has more important things to do than this...
