Hi all,

Im after a huge favour of the musicall/computer/home recording people of the forum.

I need midi files of all the album tracks or any reuben track if you have them. I think they would have to be the exact length of the original song but i cant be 100%

Basically im looking at making a custom guitar hero game for the 360. If all goes well they'll be going up on ebay Very Happy

Cheers

Mike

Well its quite involved doing it, making the tabs, syncing them to the songs etc so if its not too complicated and i can get a fair few midis then i'll see what i can do...cant promise anything though as thats piracy Very Happy Wink

I'd like to try LSHO as it seems a fairly straight forward song

I dont think you can convert audio to midi. Midi is synthesized instruments so you would need to create the song from scratch.

Do powertabs come with MIDIs? It sure sounds like it.

I would really want this game, except i don't have a 360.

I installed it and you can export them. Only the app that lets you insert them into guitar hero says they need to be GH2 compatible.....will keep reading.

Yeeaaaaah, audio to MIDI programs are all pretty rubbish to be honest.

I'd do this if I had the time, it sounds like an awesome project!
