Rickelson, tenner in the post for the very fast demo of Three hail marys?!

That is a lot of cash man, ten credits on metal slug, 1000 penny sweets, an album...

So, would it be illegal/a bad thing to do if we shared demos of songs we already have a hold of?

I don't mean unreleased tracks like 'Red Machine' or 'Lissom Slo', but say for example a demo of 'DLNA' or 'Stuck In My Throat'.
It's not like they're for sale or anything so they're not going to be losing any money.

they may not be for sale but they're still protected by copyright and owned by (mostly) xtramile. and the publishers wouldn't be very happy either.

so yes it would be illegal/a bad thing to do Smile

I think from what I've heard in the past that its mainly about principle rather than profit... meaning that they aren't happy with the quality of the demos or whatever, they were only meant for them to hear and they dont want people hearing them.

I knew they had, though I don't own them if that's what you're implying.

I can understand with the copyright and reubens hint at a rarities collection why you won't give them out.

In case anyone is wondering though, If you look hard enough you can probably find one of those sets of demos.

I would want to be in breach of any copyright or anything but It would really soothe my aching ears and head to hear any of the demos or unheard stuff.

Even indie labels have far too much control in my opinion. Damn them.

Come on dude, you know I'm officially a theist now, not a Christian. THAT SAID, I would love to start up another raging debate, so go for it.
