Ok so I've had this idea for a while and I think I should go ahead with it so...

I think that we the fans of Reuben should unite together to do a cover of a song. By Reuben.
I don't have much time atm but basically we would record it over the internet sending each other Cubase files. Everyone who would want to be involved would each do one instument then we would pass it on and slowly build up the layers into a song:)

I think itd be really cool to do but we would obviously have to talk about a lot more things, Cubase compatability, instuments, and pick a song we all agree on.

anyway I'm going out now, I hope to have a response when I'm back:)

I don't think there's much point unless its done properly. The biggest tribute for us to do is keep is alive like camp Reuben at 2000 trees, maybe arrange another one next year to sing Reuben songs and all that shizz.

i dunno probably,I've heard of loads of people doing this before I just always wanted to try it and thought this would be a good oppurtunity and yeh I agree it would have to be done properly and this would take so much time but if anyones up for it just say the word.

yeah my band were going to put a demo cover of lights out on a cd were releasing in some time, but the suits wouldnt allow it, only on myspace with no ability to download. I thought there shouldnt be a prob as theyd get some royalties from australia even though they havent released anything here. ah well.

Its a none starter for 2 reasons,

1) not everyone has cubase
2) if they did you need to know how to use it
