No I think rehearsal. Jamie would write everything then send it to the others. |

Lordy!
Howdy all, btw. Only just joined...left it a bit late really i suppose.
Just got back from my hols and and checked my outlook express and got THE nasty email. Absolutely stunned is an understatement. I'm a relative newie to the joys of Reuben, i only got into them early last summer after seeing 'Blamethrower' on scuzz. Bought all the stuff i could, have listened to them almost everyday since, and i can honestly say that they are the nearest thing to my personal music taste perfection that there is. I have NEVER connected more with a band musically, lyrically, and personally. Primus used to be my deep joy until they went on 'indefinate hiatus', but even with them i never had the same connection. Im probably the only person on this forum that hasnt witnessed the live glory firsthand, and now sadly it seems, never will. They all seem like really great blokes too, the interview clippets and the commentry on the live show in their dvd has me in stitches every time i watch it. I feel like i know them without having ever met them.
All i can say is that i hope this isnt truly the end. I cant begin to imagine what they're up against as a business, and it seems that i have entered this family at the wrong time. I truly envy all that have been there from the start, and i wish jamie jon and guy all the best in whatever comes their way in life.
A truly ace holday with my wife and kids has ended with a tear. _________________ I need somebody to blame! |

As people have been guessing, the main reason for stopping is simply that everything to do with the band became too difficult; running the band as a business, running the record label, juggling jobs and band, personal pressures... the list goes on.

I have to say, this was my fear when I heard about hideous. _________________ Neither of which Jamie had ever played before the sessions. ‘I’d never played them before,’ he says. |

The primus fire inside will never die...just dwindled a touch since i discovered the mighty Rueb. Another instance of disappearing uniqueness
Looking through some of the other topics it seems theres plenty of bands you guys n gals are into that ive not tasted. I feel the need to indulge in some unknowness. Any particular recommendations?
To give you a little of idea of my tastes, anything along the lines of scissorfight, paw (rip), rueb, sunna (rip), mr bungle, dillinger, at the drive in (rip), coheed..., dog fashion disco, kings x. _________________ I need somebody to blame!

We already have far too many topics on this subject. Do a search for 'recommendations' or something. _________________
