Fucking hell, how awesome is this? I've been waiting for weeks, watching our member count. Today, it reached 2000, FINALLY. And our 2000th member is ThePieMinister - Liam, from 2000 trees. 2000 trees, 2000th member... whey!

Man, I wish I had the money. I've wanted to be part of a Reuben meet up for years.

We should organise going to a festival together next summer (or whenever) and try and get all the board 'regulars' as well as anyone else who off here that can make it.

Frank also did Lets Stop Hanging Out, and another song or 2 that I can't remember, in his first mini set before he disappeared and came back for the one Aidan mentioned. Friday night was pretty much the coolest thing I've ever seen Very Happy

Brilliant weekend. Thanks everyone (my liege Aidan, Steph, Lambo, Chris, Tippo, Liam, Stefan, Neil, everyone else whose names I can't remember right now...) for being so awesome to hang out with!

We're definitely gonna do the same thing next year. 2000 Trees has the best festival spirit and atmosphere in the campsite of all the festivals I've been to. The sound on both stages was absolutely superb as well. Food was good (Pie Minister!!) and waaaaaay better value than most festivals. Everyone here should come.

Little I can say that hasn't already been said, but being drunk and/or stoned most of the weekend was a gooood feeling Smile

Frank was fantastic each time, I was so glad to be sat near enough for him to hear my request for 'Heartless Bastard Motherfucker' which he honoured!

Discovered a few beauties over the weekend, mostly either ska or acoustic stuff, which was cool.

The rain did little to spoil my good mood, particularly during Frank's mainstage set.

Glad to have met everyone, if either the first or second time. Will see you all at the next event no doubt!

EDIT:

No worries Smile and yeah, in classic student style, Neil is fine!

The main thing I loved about the weekend was how nice everyone was. Steffan and I go way back, but I had only met Neil briefly a couple of times; Aidan, Steph and Lambo only the once, but yeah, everyone else was new to me but you were all really friendly; it just made the weekend that much better!

I was the one who played Let's Stop Hanging Out! We also did Lights Out... and one more maybe? Then he took the guitar and did Freddy K and the District Sleeps Alone Tonight, gave me back the guitar and went to piss. I didn't think he was coming back to be honest! But then we did a whole bunch of Reuben tunes and he returned and started playing his own stuff. What an evening.

Chipstick, apologies to Steffan for the misspelt name! You know how much I hate that stuff...

EDIT:

Strongbow, mud, reuben, rain, smiles. God I look cool. Who knew white shorts went with wellies?

Future of the Left were absolutely amazing though weren't they? and touring with fighting with wire soon, so anyone fancy a sing-along?

hehe as if im the 2000th member as a re4sult of 2000 trees! And yes i am Liam, evil empire IS the best rage album and maddox and Tucker max are gods Very Happy. The weeekend was fantastic as a whole apart from the rain and leaving early due to pain/everything being damn wet. Surely a repeat next year is on the cards!
