Tippo, you need to do your research man;

Frank Turner (twice), Captain Black, Beans on Toast, all awesome

The Duke Spirit, In Case of Fire, Slaves to Gravity, Ghost of a Thousand, Art Brut, Future of the Left, all good

I'd still go if i was going.
Beans on toast pwns, as does frank (obviously) and it'd just be a lot of fun. Cos festivals are. Plus the Reuben club thing sounds ace.

Oh yeah, what smithers said; the bands are only half the awesomeness of festivals! Getting wasted twice every day and staying up all night arseing around is what it's allll about Smile

It's because you hate the environment, isn't it?

Ok Steph, 1 for you, 1 for Lamberto, 1 for Aidan. probably the easiest thing for me to do is put them in Aidan's reliable posession, who can then hand them over/keep them until the time. As far as money, just give me cash or equal beer value at the festival if its easier, they're only 4 quid each so no rush in doing all that bank transfer stuff.

So this leaves one more early entry ticket. Anybody?

seeing as a lot of us are driving and a lot of people from here will all be camping together I hope to see the following items somewhere in the campsite:

bbq
sun umbrella
table
deckchairs or other comfy seating (sofa?) for everyone
a variety of musical instruments and percussion
some way of playing music hopefully not through some 2 watt ipod 'speakers'
paddling pool
a corner reserved for alcohol stocks

I might be able to bring a table and some seats, maybe some bongos too. please add to this list. might as well live the luxury lifestyle if we can.

I can bring a shitty acoustic guitar, though I have nowt in the way of percussion. We should really try and procure a sofa. We'd have to take it away after though - I will not dump stuff at festival site... We could probably fit one in the back of my car. We need to figure out exactly who is coming, who is camping with who, etc

My work told me that they can't give me the saturday off though! So I'm in the process of trying to blag that, else it looks like I'll be losing my job over it. I'll be damned if I'm missing this festival.

I have claimed an old parasol umbrella from my garage. i have a harmonica but nothing else in the way of instruments! i have a couple of chairs, i'm trying to borrow a battery operated mini stereo from my brother. I'm gonna go to tesco and see whether it's worth buying a mini bbq or getting tonnes of those disposible ones. And i will have as many crates of strongbow as my car will carry.

Also, Aidan, Is your car gonna be in working order? cos we'll fit a hell of a lot more stuff in there...

eeee! excited!

My car should indeed be in working order. As long as I don't have to forfeit drinking because I'm driving at any point over the weekend, I'm more than happy to drive.
