wow!

i love the first one, how you can see the bass strings ossilating Very Happy you can pretty much see all the nodes and anti nodes, (physics geek here) which you practically have to get up face to face you you strings to see normally

the second one is great how it looks like john is breathing out that smoke.

the third one makes Jamie look like a god!

the last one the drums just look amazing!!

how do you edit them?

please teach me!

Thanks so much for the kind words!

i have no formal training, but i do have a shit load of photographer friends and a mate who LIVES on photoshop... so i just kind of experiment..
plus, Iphoto editor is brilliant basic stuff for photographers..

Basically, all i have done is desaturated each photo, and then played with sharpness, making them as grainy as possible, and then played with contrats, brightness and exposure...
I like to make the photos as stark and monochronistic as possible, before recolouring and playing with balance.

I have a bunch more on the way, so will add those when i get a second..
but seriously, thanks for the lovely comments...
its good that i am familiar to Jon, as i was pretty much in his face for a few shots...

bugger the crowd!! i need my shot!
LOL!

You may have saturated the second one a bit too much but apart from that they're pretty rockin'

You really managed to capture the emotion of the peformance there. I especially like how the brown tone fits in with some of there press photos and artwork on the new album.

Good stuff.l

Thanks so much... i agree with the critique of the pics...

The Logo was taken from the press release that Jon from Duff Press sent me..
Simply magic wanded and pasted and then recoloured...
So i have full permission to use the logo!!!!

hope you dig these...
Also posting a couple of Ghost Of A thousand, as they rocked hard...
same deal with their logo... magic wanded from press release...

Cheers!

And the Ghost Of A Thousand pics...

comments welcome!!

You're in Derby and went to the Birmingham, Sheffield and Nottingham gigs? You're not me in some evil parallel universe by any chance are you?

Maybe there's just some conspiracy involving mirrors...

Now, if on the date Reuben were in Glasgow (Thursday the 3rd if I remember) you decided to see Frank Turner in Sheffield, then I'm going to have to start procedings to sue you for identity theft.
