Now. I know this has been talked about before, but would like to get opinions on this.

My other favourite band - Every Time I Die - are playing at the London Astoria II on the same night as Reuben are playing the Camden Electric Ballroom.

Now, according to some hombres on this here forum, the EB has a silly curfew at circa 21:30 (not sure exactly - please correct.)

and ETID have doors at 19:00, but have 2 support bands with them... which i guess means that the main set will start around 21:30.

me and two mates were going to scramble from the EB down to the Astoria II after the Reuben set had finished - as it's 4 or 5 stops straight down the Northern Line to Tottenham Court Road - to try and catch the majority, if not the start, of the ETID set.

people's opinions on whether that's logically feasible or not?

sadly, that is the only mentality that i have at the moment.

two things bothering me:
- when exactly is the curfew at EB and that means Reuben will finish when?
- when will ETID start their set?

if those are negative answers it would be a waster of time, and money.

Ring the venues and try and find out.

Reuben and Every Time I Die on the same night sounds, quite frankly, better than sex, food, all other bands in the world and time travel rolled into one.

Nothing is better than time travel. With time travel you could see the full gig of both bands.

Yeah, all you need is an old 50p piece, rub the queens nose on it and time will stop! Everybody knows this.

I saw ETID on Wednesday - they were so awesome! They even came out to meet and greet afterward!

I lucked out because Reuben played the Garage in Glasgow this Thursday, and ETID played King Tuts last night. Both gigs were amazing, made up for the fact I didn't get paid.
Oh, and ETID have 3 supports, Black Hole aren't on the tickets but they're opening. Don't worry about missing them, Scary Kids Scaring Kids or Drop Dead, Gorgeous, they were all pretty uninspiring.

Ha ha, not really! I decided to go against my usual 'not drinking much at gigs' rule 'cos one of the guys I was with also enjoys a pint or two. Not that I was hammered or anything. The pit was brilliant. Set included (no order): no son of mine, pigs is pigs, imitation..., apocalypse now and then, the new black, we'rewolf and some more. they may have played floater too. It was pretty cool because it was a friday night, so they finished at midnight. and the left the stage to the Curb Your Enthusiasm theme tune too.

They started with We'rewolf and ended with Ebolorama. In no order they also played:
I Been Gone a Long Time
Apolocalypse Now and Then
The New Black
No Son of Mine
Rendez-Voodoo
INRIhab
Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Battery

That was just off the top of head they probably played even more.
