Hey there. I thought that with all these bands being plugged, someone is sure to know of somewhere worth recommending for getting t-shirts made. Also, duplication is another query….. www.amstore.co.uk has a good reputation, does anyone know of any others? We’re finally moving away from totally diy to getting someone else to do it (as the scale gets grander) so we need help! Any info, especially with band tee’s would be great! Cheers

p.s. if anyone wants to check us out, our first ep is free from
www.myspace.com/conquistadorsmusic

p.p.s Reuben were amazing in brum last night

I own a clothing line, and I'd recommend Roz-Co Screen Printers all the way.
You can do it all online or via the post, and their services are cheap, quick, and professional.

www.myspace.com/roz-co

I think they're the links at least. Razz

check out a company on myspace called phantom screenprint (google/myspace it) - really good quality prints and tee's and they're pretty professional - price-wise they're good too - they also do an offer (at least they did at the time we did ours) where if you just want a cheap run, they do 50 black tee's with a one colour print for £150 inc shipping.

That's pretty similar to Roz-Co. Smile
However, it does depend on what colour you use on top of the black shirts.

It's good, but it's not really that difficult to make your MySpace look like that.
Just the use of overlays and your own coding to put exactly what you want on there.
Smile

Cheers! both for the help with the tee's and the 'banging tunes' comment. nice one. the demo isn't as good quality as we'd like, but anyway thanks for checking us out. our singer is into a bit of programming yeah, i know a bit of html but he went above my level and chose some different kind of script for the site, so god knows how he did it.

surprisingly cheap t-shirt companies aren't THAT easy to find. the two ones suggested are gonna come in helpful, no doubt.

NEXT QUESTION: we're booking a mini tour a few months in advance. anyone got any good local venues to recommend? any bands that might be up for playing/drawing a crowd? we're going to be touring with a cambridge band (we're from birmingham) so we'll need 'looking after' (nothing sexual) by locals/venues/local bands, as well as money to pay our driver (we're renting another bands amazing van)...

any help would be greatly appreciated. its in the early stages so if anyone knows someone who knows someone type of thing, pass the word on and we'll see what happens. cheers guys! aren't forum's great?

If you're coming to the South West then the Croft and Louisiana in Bristol are both lovely venues. If you're going near Weston-S-Mare then Hobbits seems quite popular from what I've heard but I've never been there.
