Hi all,

Will Reuben play Reading this year? Frank Turner is rumored.

Reuben has never played Reading Fest? can anyone *shred* some light?

No way would they put Reuben on the main stage even if they were in the lineup. I know they have some heavier bands, but I dunno, not sure Reuben would really fit in at Reading. If Frank was playing again I might be tempted.

Frank was alot of fun last year.

But yeah, Reading isn't really a Reuben festival (full of alot of indie kids who wouldn't really enjoy Reuben).

I wouldn't get your hopes up!

EDIT: RAGE THOUGH! (hopefully).

Reading/Leeds USED to be a Reuben type fest though. I remember when I went in 2000 for my First Leeds fest experience. It was proper rock music back then. Not Boomtown Rats wannabes like Johnny Fuckin Borrell...

Only been once since then and that was 04.

And that was mostly shite.

I'd say Reuben could play Reading. They've had loads heavier bands than them play there before.

everytime i go to reading, i see alot of pop rock acts.

i guess if reuben played reading we would see them become more of a big record label band and not the big local band we love.

still would love to see them on main stage.

Second that, i was at the front for all Frank's set and it was one of my highlights from last year. I think actually prob the only part worth remembering!

Oh except Biffy.

Yeah Biffy was fun too.

I was sort of in the middle for Mr. Turner. He had a pretty big turnout, i really thought there would only be a few people.

To reiterate the point rather pointlessly.

No.
