Not really sure what I even mean by under-rated. Kinda hoping someone else will...

Nonetheless, I'm gonna say Wrong & Sorry, Approaching by Stealth and Missing Fingers are all HIDEOUSLY under-rated

I thought everyone loved Missing fingers!

I think A Short History... is pretty underrated. I firmly beleive it to be the best Roob song, standing head and shoulders above everything else, and not many people agree with me.

I wouldn't call it under rated. They wouldn't finish a set with it if it were.

Anyway, for your consideration:

Ways of Staying Pure.
Glitterskin (worth it for the Hammond organ solo.)

Definitely. The Freddy Kreuger single version is one of my favourite Reuben songs.

that makes no difference. I think its underrated because people rate it under what i think they should rate it. and I've never been lucky enough to see a set where they finish with it either Sad

anyway I'm seeing a lot of hte old songs mentioned here. Are they really underrated? Doesn't every hardcore Reuben fan love them and every other Reuben fan is just not aware they really exist or are easy to get hold of?

Well ok but it is constantly said by some to be one of if not the best Reuben song, if not from the album then ever. And I'm sure it got several mentions in the 'bit' thread which was of course about peoples favourite bits in Reubens discography.

Ultimately there are no underrated Reuben songs as I don't think anyone has ever said that the specifically hate a song. Maybe they like a song a bit , or a lot, more than another but few have said they don't like a song.

A lot of the other songs mentioned are B-sides and not that hard to get hold of and a lot of the rarer songs, like (full length) Shambles aren't underrated at all because they have this sort of legend built up around them and if others aren't aware of these underrated B-sides then surely it is an underrated song?

Discuss.
