...what would you actually want on it?

Seeing the topic hither was just curious as to what people would expect from such a beast.

Personally,

Old Stuff and B-Sides
Scared of the Police (single version)
Wooden Boy
Stux
Stealing is Easy
Banner Held High
Alpha Signal Five
Numb at Four in the Morning
Enemy (would be nice to have a non-vinyl version)
Seated Near (again, nice to have on CD)
Approaching By Stealth (and again...)
Victim (and again!)

Rarities / Unreleased
A Kick in the Remix
Two Kicks in the Mouth
Lissom Slo
Shambles (Extended - the amount everyone that's heard it goes on about it makes it seem to be probably the best thing evarrr)
Scared of the Police (re-recorded version that appeared on the MySpace a few months ago)

Covers
Feel Good Inc.
The Hand That Feeds
Stay Away (Nirvana cover as done in Glasgow on the Feb tour)

Ryan Maunder did a remix of A Kick In The Mouth which was on the bands myspace page for a bit.
Two Kicks In The Mouth is just a different chorus that they did in session for xfm " Yeah, yeah, you got two kicks in the mouth"

Whatever, so long as Alpha Signal Five and Banner Held High are present.

THe Feel Good Inc and Hand That Feeds covers would be a bonus...

Plus I wanna hear what all the fuss is about with Lissom Slo, so that too.

i don't think it's been re-recorded and i'm reliably informed that the version that was on myspace is nothing new

It's a lot more different than that, very different drum arrangement etc

Cheers for this, the song (when it eventually got there after about 6 and a half mins!) was pretty good, but no where near Reuben's (non-album) best. Don't understand why so many people want a proper version of it.

lissom slo is great, never heard that before.

Ric.... any idea if a b-side album will happen at some point in the next year or two, if not in a few more years. Am i right in thinking there is alot of unreleased material floating around???

there's not much unreleased stuff (if you don't count demos of released songs)

there are a few alternate takes and demos of unreleased songs

i would've thought there will be a compilation of some description but probably not in the next year or two - the band mentioned in the latest radio session that they have two more projects planned, so you can probably expect each of those to take around a year.

** this last paragraph is totally my opinion / guesses.

I like how you say 'projects' and not just 'albums'. Smile

i know there's a few songs from a certain set of demos that haven't been released at all, but I don't know if there'd be room for them on a b side/rarity comilation due to the overwhelming quality of the more "well-known rarities" (if you see what i mean)
