Ok, so this has been posted in another thread.. but I think it deserves a bit more attention:

You can listen to "We're All Going Home In An Ambulance" at Rock Sound's myspace and the track is also on their cover CD this month.

I love the lyrics! "The taste of somebody's fist is not a good vibe or something I've missed", "they drink they fight, so don't go out tonight", and that chant. I also hate the guts out of people who go to gigs to beat the shit out of other people. I went to see Isis a few days back and some kids started to mosh! You don't mosh to Isis, sit back and absorb it and stop beating other people up for wanting to enjoy music on their own level.
What I like most about the song is that it's about six minutes long but it feels like three. And just being too fast and clever for the average moshing kid to dance to. Very Happy It's awesome.

Moshing is okay, as long as it's not violent.

I know that sounds odd, but alot of the time, it really isnae.

Moshing's fine, don't get me wrong, but the song itself seems to be about all those people who just go to gigs to beat up other fans as an idea of a "good time". It's antisocial and juvenile to not leave others to enjoy their music, and they're generally unpleasant as people as well.

ok some of us work bar jobs, then get very drunk afterwards, then launch a tirade of abuse at your boss for various reasons.

To come home to this glory is beyond belief.

The clapping bits a bit surreal and on the first listen im not actually sure if I prefer the without clap version. But the track breaks open my balls til musical notes spew from my loins.

Tune Boys. Fucking (sorry people at work) tune.

Edit : The "if your mum and dad...." loses a lot of impact. Very harmonius but it was one of the defining moments off seeing it live a bit now. Lovely song.

A slightly odd choice as the song to put out on sample cd's? Anyone else think there would have been easier choons to put out for people to get into reuben (yet again Razz)

To be fair I think considering the normal content of Rock Sound CDs, it's a great choice. It's progtastic, a bit weird while being really powerful and showing off a few different sides of the band. I think it's a good choice, but without knowing how representative of the album it is I guess no one can really say. Maybe it's a good cross section of the album, maybe it's the one weird 'out there' track.

I love the 'if your mum and dad' bit, the first bit to have a really powerful melody, so it adds a certain oomph to the lyrics. The whole thing's sexy as hell though.

Its like the No Exit Wound differences.

RS were definatly right about the football chant bit - they pull it off and it doesn't sound shit.

Wicked song.
