If yeah, type a price you'd be willing to pay.

Thanks,

I ain't going to be trying to be making any profit at all, it's all down to P & P and printing money.

And no to sexual favours, you give me those for free Dave anyway.

I am going to my local printers tomorrow, cos it is shut today. I will get back to you on costs.

I am just going to work around the price that you guys give me. I have done the front page and this is on a grey scale and I think it looks pretty ace. It will most likely if I can, be in colour like a Kerrang mag.

Very Happy

How much i'd pay would completely depend on what sort of thing it'd be. If youre going all out and making a full colour, big, glossy thing then I'd pay more than a diy-style black and white thing. I'd probably say 5 max too.

One thing you might wanna remember. Its all well and good having 20 people say they'll give you a fiver for one, but you gotta have the 100 in the first place to make them, unless youre planning on making people pay for them before you make them... which to be honest I wouldnt be comfortable doing.

Another thing to think about... on another board I visit, it was decided a couple of years back that we'd hire out a venue and have a huge meet-up/party. About 500 people said they'd be interested. The venue booked could hold 200. About 50 showed up. I'm not saying that thats gonna happen with this, but... never trust internet people.

Do I talk too much?

I probably might be able to use my printer. So if I don't use too many pics, then I came keep the price down.

It might be cheaper to get it professionally printed, depends. We'll know tomorrow.

Does anyone know if there are photocopiers that do black, white and grey? Or am I just making that up.

I'm not going full out, I'm planning on trying to make it as professional as possible for the smallest price. I am thinking about 1.50, cos I would pay that for one.

It's more about the content, then the presentation. I will probably do it in black and white which is 5p per sheet and then a colour cover, a bit more. And probably about 50 pages - which is 25 sheets.

So 25 x 5 = 1.25 + 50 (for the colour cover) = 1.75.

Does that sound ok?

you mean greyscale ones? hmm. I thoughts that what they were anyway... though I havent used one for a couple of years. if they arent, then you could make pics just black and white but dotty... I forgot the proper name for this. erm. damn. error diffusion! thats it. if youre using paintshop pro. like...

Its not perfect. but if you mess around with the contrast and shit before, you can make them pretty damn good.

and 1. 75 sounds fine.

My software is fucked up:

I dont have Paintshop Pro and I have Word 97, so I can't split my A4 pages, but I think my mate is getting me some illegal copies so it's ok.
