Looks like Funeral For A Friend are doing a similar thing with the whole studio diary (see their myspace blog), although theirs is far less interesting or hilarious.

ok fair comment, it does look like masking tape.

Intresting fact i just learnt, Duct tape was developed during world war 2 as a sealant for ammunition boxes, its made from a rubber based surface and a fabric back to help it rip and be waterproof Very Happy

Duck tape is one of the alternative names. I guess it comes from it being waterproof....ie: water of a ducks back.

Curiously enough, Jetplane Landing are doing the same thing for the writing process of their third album.
Yes, they are writing a third album. YAY! Very Happy
Best to look up "Jetplane Album Diary" on Youtube. I couldn't hear a thing on the myspace ones.
EDIT: Check out Cahir's Razorlight piss-take at the end of the third one. YES!
I reckon that drum track Guy was playing in the second diary was Ambulance. It would make sense. Now having read Jon's third diary entry, I am very very excited indeed. Bring on the noise! Cool
