Not bad Not bad.
In my opinoun they could have done some thing a lot more creative, but the code name singers bits compliment jamies very well.

My thoughts exactly! Holy shit!
I do wish it was mixed slightly better for clarity though - heavyness is one thing, but i still wanna hear what's going on a bit better.

Anyone going to the show tonight in camden? I am! Very Happy

I think its awesome and that the reuben one is one of the strongest Surprised

Its very reubeny though, but the vocal combo of jamie and paul is the sexiest thing I've heard in ages now.

The Martin Grech song is awesome, and im even starting to grow on ordinary days Very Happy

the camden gig was fantastic, despite shaun's dodgy fill at the end of summer isles, bless him.

the album, well, as i said before, fantastic stuff. if i had to go for a favourite track, i'd either go for ultrabrain or tom vek. the automatic one was immense live, must be said.

top stuff, but i expect no less.

ps - lethal bizzle is the shizz.

the reuben track reminds me of seeing milo at the cluny for shauns first show when they played everything a far heavier than usual and absolutely crushed the place

i'm liking the whole thing...

the maximo park track is a bit hawkwindy (without actually sounding like hawkwind) which is ace because my dad has been playing their records around the house since before i was born so i love that trippy space rock stuff.

on first listen (i only bought it today) the get cape track is probably the weakest, it's the least distinctive of the bunch i thought, just sort of like a get cape song with a band.
whereas the others are all something totally different, not like milo not like the guests own stuff.

I finally got to hear the ycni:m/reuben collaboration.
It's wicked, heavy-as-fk and totally makes me wanna get the album.
I'd never heard anything by ycni:m before, they seem...different.
Apparently one of the guys in the band has an Australian cousin, who my brother knows Laughing
lol
