HMV.co.uk has Vol 2 but not any of the others for some reason, so I'm keeping an eye on that.

Erm mine didnt come should have just brought it from a shop. Sad
Did anyone elses that bought it from here come today.?
This seems to be the oddist little release ever. No tour, not even a launch gig Confused . Why didnt they release a real single, teenager could do quite well as a single. It all seems a bit weird.

I ordered mine through HMV and the website says that it's available and awaiting shipment. Hopefully that means that it will be here in the next couple of days...

have you ever heard a band complain about their record label? i'm guessing from the lack of tour, video or even reuben stylee artwork that perhaps this wasn't the bands idea.

lee's right ... i think its just a fancy way of showing off what they have, instead of putting out a plain old regular compilation like everyone else

Nah there wasn't. The idea was to promote new music, hence there's no splits for Xtra Mile signees Fights and The Rifles, who I think are the only bands they've put records out for except MD and the Reub. The original news post called Reuben's appearance 'cheeky' for this reason.

Of course, limited edition 7" records that nobody's going to buy unless they like the band already is a shit way to promote new music, but... *shrugs*

I guess they're hoping for cross-polination between the eight existing fanbases because they're splits, and because of this competition where you have to buy all four. Seems to me a compilation CD or free sampler might've done a slightly better job as well.
