I have been thinking about this a lot. I really think that Best Enemies would be a better choice than Nobody Loves You. I really love that song but I don't think it would be a good single as some people said would get a different kind of fan who wouldn't necessarily find other songs on the album like it and be disappointed, only liking that one song. Best Enemies, on the other hand, is a variety of things and would appeal to a wider audience. It is just a great song that I can really see doing well.

Think about it.
Best Enemies is the perfect choice for their fourth single from VFVD.
It has a quiet section, louder section, great lyrics, amazing song.
It is radio friendly too and isn't too loud to be considered as a "Mosher Song" or "Heavy Metal".

Nobody Loves You is a great song but if someone who likes quiet song gets the single and buys the album, they're gonna listen to it, possibly like a few songs on the album like Boy. But once they hear Blamethrower, Alpha Signal Three or Return Of The Jedi (the heavy songs) they're gonna turn it straight off.

Best Enemies is the perfect choice in my opinion. Cool

That's a very good point, it's a great, multi-layed song. It would be a terrific single.

I'd definately go for Best Enemies. I fell in love with it as soon as i heard it and i think it's perfect single material. more so than nobody loves you, even though it's an amazingly special song.

"Finally, we're hoping to release a limited edition split 7" single with Frank Turner (ex-Million Dead) in Janauary. We can't reveal just which song we'll be releasing as yet, but it will be one kick-ass little release. Can't wait!"

Oooooh!!

Surely it'll be Alpha Signal Three that's released as the next single? Frank Turner sang it live with Reuben before.

That's fairly odd logic... he sang it because it's the only Reuben song requiring two vocalist. Considering his music is acoustic folky stuff, it'd be a pretty uneven record.

I don't understand. What record? I thought this was a single? And singles have been known to have a very heavy song with a light acoustic track as a b-side before. Frank Turner's music in Million Dead wasn't all acoustic folky stuff, so I'm not sure why that assumption has been made. I've probably misunderstood what the news was about Confused

Edit: Oh, I see, it's a split single. So Frank Turner won't be singing on the Reuben track.. I see.
