Lights Out

I heard from somewhere that if Xtra Mile are going to push for another single it's gonna be Nobody Loves You. In that case I really really hope they don't want to release another single from the album then because all it's gonna do for Reuben is lose them fans

don't be ridiculous.. why would the single lose them fans?

are you going to stop liking the band because of the label's choice of single?

what's more likely is that they'll gain a whole new bunch of fans who like quieter stuff. it's also the kind of song that has more potential to get on daytime radio and so higher in the charts etc

Very slow, quiet love songs do seem to be doing rather well in the charts at the moment.

Nobody Loves You all the way. Perfect choice of single. It'd also seem stupid not to have another single off this record - they haven't yet had a "major" spell of airplay while the album's been on the shelves.

But then I'm not a record label...

because he was going metallica-style and saying pretty much the same between song banter at every gig ... bet he told you about how they weren't going to do encores and introduced as3 with a "do you want something heavy?" kinda thing, right ? Wink

I'm going for Nobody Loves You as well.
It's a side to the boys that hasn't been shown on previous singles. And it's just lovely- it's not a typical "oh, let's have a slowie 'ere, balance this thing out", it's genuine and heartfelt.

He did say no encores, but introduced Alpha Signal 3 with 'here's a happy song for you'... Or something similar.

Lights Out, definately.

I definately think Nobody Loves You, but, from the list that has been put up to choose from, Jedi would be proper insane! Would probably be one of the longest singles eeever.
