Obviously being up in the "icey wastelands of Hull" as Kerrang editor described it to me at a codename gig the other day I couldn't really find out about Reuben locally.

I first noticed them three/four years ago when I saw them on Gonzo, which was ace, cos I remember watchin "Scared Of Police" on most wanted and then "let's stop hanging out". Sadly I could only get hold of the Stux single at the time.

I remember thinking for ages, when are they coming back?? Then I saw "Stuck In My Throat" on Scuzz and thought WOW!

And then the obsession began.
Apart from my maybe a Tool album, "Racecar..." is my fav album of all time. No doubt.

Supporting Kinesis, Vic Inn Derby... February 2003 I think. Jamie came on stage with a marker pen moustache claiming to be Bill the Butcher...

First heard of them when my friend Luke pointed at Scared of the Police in HMV Glasgow and went "OOOOOOOOOOOOH GOOD GOD, I'VE NOT GOT ANY MONEY, CHRISPY CAN YOU COME BACK HERE AND BUY THIS FOR ME AND I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER!!!!" and me being a lazy poor bastard didn't.

Fast forward a year or so, I see "Let's Stop Hanging Out" on MTV2 and think "Wow that's good, my mate Luke likes them." So I spoke to Luke and heard some other stuff like the Peoplesound promo and was really digging it. Then managed to see them on the Stuck in My Throat tour at King Tuts, it was fucking fantastic. Since then I've been hooked. Very Happy

When Scared of the Police was getting played on XFM. I never bought singles though so just thought 'yeah, cool song' and that was it. Then I heard Stux, thought it was the best song ever, went to see them at the Garage, and then bought Pilot/Stux and soon after LSHO, and thats what got me hooked!
