Anyone know what model Boss pedal Jon uses for his distortion? It's sounds ace. It just says boss distortion on his profile. Not very spec[ific].

I always thought it was the ODB3 Bass Overdrive. I didn't realise Boss made a bass distortion pedal.

Of course it could be a guitar distortion pedal but the bass end still sounds very full when Jon plays so I doubt it.

That link is to the bass overdrive. There isn't a bass distortion is there?

yup. And a beautiful thing it is too. The EQ is useful, makes sure you don't drop all the bottom end when you use it. If anything, you can get MORE!!!!! Very Happy

you know what? Think of me as a plonker.

I understand what you were saying now. No, to my knowledge there isn't a bass distortion that they make, but Jon uses the boss overdrive.

Read, breath slowly, think, then reply. Must remember.

go find a friendly guitar shop and see if they can find / order in one from somewhere else in the country for you.....most will try to help you if they can, and it might work out cheaper than paying for it and the import/export/postage charges from the US

maybe
