actaully in theory parental advisory means it should be a 16+ age limit on the album ... but because its really an america practice no shops take any notice of it over here, its a warning not a restriction.

Has anyone heard the story/seen the film about how the parental guidance thing came into usage? It's actually really interesting.

is that the thing with al gores wife (tipper) ?
i know its mostly the responisbility of her parental concern group that got them implamented...only problem was they dont work, bands just made their cds more extreme in case they looked like wusses for not having one Rolling Eyes

I saw something about it a while back.
Really isnt a bothre though, on the tills at work whenever you scan a game or a dvd or anything it says "Check age DVD" and you have to press ok... but it prompts that on PG videos and stuff. Neutral

Also, on that tangent, you have to be 16 to buy nasal decongestant stuff... but you can be any age to buy a huge meat cleaver. Work that one out.

iv been refused for a cd too ... thats partly how i know about it ... wanted to buy far beyond driven by pantera when i was 13 and the guy at andy's records wouldnt serve me.
so i walked over to my dad, who was also in the shop and he went to the counter and bought it for me.....stupid barely existant rule, that guy knew full well who my dad was shopping for Rolling Eyes

Yeah. The main man who actually won the battle and made it a warning rather than actual censorship was Frank Zappa. Legend.

Didn't ric say it wasn't elligible for the download charts?

Are there any stats on it, i.e. how many downloads it's had so far?
