sorry i have to rant about this. And not about Reuben surprisingly enough, i'm surprised that they've been rated so highly, altho of course it deserves to be higher.

first of all let me mention a few albums that have been overlooked. The Walkmen, Head Automatica, Jetplane Landing, Biffy Clyro, Instruction, Taking Back Sunday, Coheed and Cambria.

Except for that it aint too bad tho, although Mclusky and Reuben should be higher. And Interpol, album of the year? I've missed something there. Glad to see they included Killers and Stills at the top, 2 quality albums.

Interpol's album is certainly the best "vaguely mainstream" album I own from this year. I'm not miffed at all about it being at number one. Maybe it sholdn't have been: I liked the Reuben, The Bronx and thisGIRL albums more. But Antics is certainly a very good album.
And also, the JPL album was released last year- in October. And the "There is no courage" album doesn't really count- it's filled with album and live tracks.
I agree with you about the rest of the list though.
