yeh been said before, i signed a fucking petition for it and yet nothing happend, but as many of u no new found glory pulled out of there sunday headlining slot for the chance to play at the MTV VMA cough sell outs cough. Reuben r playing the day of rock along side minus who gained a place on the main stage fro yellowcard pulling out for the exact same reasons as NfG (obviously sitting in a fancy seat nowing u have no chance of winning with ur cheesy pop punk is a great thing in america). Reuben should seriously be playing mainstage they easily have enough songs and this could seriously put them up in the mainstream like other local heros (hundred reasons, Vex red), and even if there not liked (highly unlikely) they wont be as hated as much as headliner 50 cent.
anyone nows anyway to get them on the bill try it as they fucking deserve it,
matt

There is absolutely no way whatsoever that Reuben will fill NFG's slot. There is a slight possibility of them playing as a result of NFG pulling out if one of the bands on a smaller stage gets bumped up to the main stage (I think it was Razorlight this happened to before) and there's then a space on said smaller stage. To get a band Reuben's size into this though they'd have to shuffle things a lot, which they're very unlikely to do because the timetables have already been printed (or are at least in the process).

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them at Reading and do think an offer is way overdue on Mean Fiddler's behalf, but I really think it's going to have to wait another year.

Would be great if I get proven wrong though Rolling Eyes

A lot of people would go see them, but I doubt it'll happen.
