I would imagine the video game would be the same as most of the franchise games - unoriginal and nothing special.

The film isn't that bad, it's just like an extra long episode... there's no way it will ruin the whole Family Guy universe for you!!
http://www.familyguyx.net/ (thanks to wild card for the awesome link) has the whole film to watch there, so no excuses.

I still crack up at the one in the last Season 5 episode, "Meet the Quagmires":

"I'm gonna cause more hell than Hellraiser!"

Agreed.

I was in an interview today, and seeing pictures of the interviewer's family I couldn't help but remember this classic:

Interviewer: "So Peter, where do you see yourself in five years?"
Peter (in his head): "Don't say doing yer wife, don't say doing yer wife, don't say doing yer wife"
Peter (out loud): "Doing yer ... son?"

Very Happy

The first time I've laughed out loud in a LONG LONG time.

From Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story.

Fucking hilarious, watch the way his neck moves as he's walking over.

the movie is pretty good... just a really long episode, nowt fancy and flashy like the simpsons or beavis & butthead movies.

it's been that long since i saw the movie i can't remember exactly what happens but i'm sure i saw a regular episode on telly that had almost the same story.
has the bbc been showing the movie editted down into a couple of episodes or are they different and i'm just flashing my ignorance about for all to see?

and the episode barely legal is the 5th season when it comes to production but if you wanna know what dvd it'll be on it'll be the 6th season which comes out later this year.

yeah they showed it on tv as episodes which is pretty weird.i didnt watch them but it must have been a bit of a head blag when they cut off after 21 minutes each time.

king of the hill and beavis & butthead are both really unfairly ignored in the whole cartoon war. both of them are ace.

It didn't used to be that way but Beavis and Butthead was over long before a proper cartoon war started and King of the Hill was around til Sky and channel 4 stopped airing it. Which was a shame as it was (in my opinion) often alot smarter and subtler than The Simpsons. At least The Simpsons as it is now.
