hello everyone,

first post and basically the reason i signed up,

i am just wondering who Hannah Clarke is, that is guest singing on Track 7? (Good Luck).

Does anyone know if she's in another band? or just a friend of Reuben?

She fronts a band called Arthur www.myspace.com/arthurtheband

I heard a rumor that she is romantically linked to one of the Reuben boys, or so the keyboardist told my dad...

This cd is indeed a snazzy bit of packaging. And content wise it's filthy goodness! Im liking 'were all going home in an ambulance' and 'good Luck' at this moment in time.
Only downside is the store I bought it from neglected to give me any promo posters n stuff. Facists!!

Sad I have swapped out Agony-Agatha on my MP4 player for the live verson, I just really can't get into the piano in the album version, it seems to drain all the energy out of the song Crying or Very sad

If the guys recorded a studio version of Agony-Agatha with the guitar instead of the piano and only jamie's vocals and none of that Hannah Clarke in it I would honestly pay £30 for that single track, of all the tracks on the album I feel that has to be the one most lacking. I am not saying the album is bad at all but unlike most reuben fans I feel a little disappointed with this album. I know I am the minority so the Roob don't have to worry themselfs over my opinion. I will still be going to every live show I can get to (And enjoying the live version of Agony-Agatha) and buying all their up and coming releases. I just feel a little empty listening to this new album Crying or Very sad Oh well.....

Shock and horror!

Sorry to hear that dood, maybe after a few listens you'll warm to it more.

And leave Hannah alone, she's no even in Agony/Agatha, and her voice is lovely. Wink

Ah, yes, your right, sorry, she sings in good luck. But to be fair its only the swap of first person singing and the piano on Agony don't do it for me in this album. The rest of it is pretty damn rocking. For me Agony/Agatha would be a blindingly good song without Hannah, nothing aginst her though, don't get me worng, I'm not trying to be mean Wink

Ah, for gods sake, why do I keep doing that? maybe its because the tracks are right next to each other on the album and they are the only two on the album I'm not much for, I must just be mixing them together in my mind.

For me GOOD LUCK would be a much better song without Hannah in it. I am almost positive this is just me and I should stop whinging about it.

(Sorry about all the mix ups Confused )

Ok, let me clear this up:

There is some rediculously tenuous link where my parents are friends with the parents of the (female) keyboardist of Arthur. My Dad spoke to her mum about the band who apparently said there was a romanic link between one of the members of Arthur and one of the members of Reuben. I'm assuming it wasn't her daugher, and the only other female in the band is Hannah.

HOWEVER, it may well be that it is complete bull.
