Just got my copy, I am drowning in a sea of rock perfection. This is a simply stunning offering from the guys. The album itself looks great, but the sound........I am loving it.

(Unfortunatley I am yet to hear the B-sides to Blood, Bunny...., HMV have failed me again, the bastards! Rolling Eyes)

Also the new site design is rockin Laughing Nice work Ric.

I'm still getting through it.. but I've got such a grin on my face!

I (like others) was waiting for EVER for Biffy to release Puzzle, and although I love it, most of the tracks on it had been around for up to 2 years played live at some point, but with this album, aside from the DVD I haven't been spoilt at all, and it feels great to hear new tracks.

The album is brilliant so far.

Get in!

Wow...um...

Hmm...Interesting. In 'Crushed Under...' Jamie sings about having to listen to albums multiple times in order to appreciate them. This album is so experimental and diverse that I will certainly have to listen to it multiple times to really get to grips with it. Aside from the studio tracks I had heard before (BBL, Ambulance), the most stand-out track for me was 'Good Luck'. I instantly fell in love with this song, Hannah does an excellent job sharing the vocals - I cracked up when she sang about sleeping with a girl! Both 'Cities On Fire' and 'Agony/Agatha' are curiously different to the live versions, though this is not necessarily a bad thing. The piano on the latter makes for a very interesting change.

Having read ahead the lyrics of 'Crushed Under...' I was expecting it to be a shouty track, although Jamie singing the words clearly puts more emphasis behind the lyrics which, considering the content, is a good thing.

'Deadly Lethal Ninja..' is about the only track I hadn't heard before that was pretty much as I was expecting, nice and poppy yet still classic Reuben.

A very diverse album. While I celebrate diversity and experimentalism in music, the album is so varied track-to-track and such a departure from the first two albums as to be somewhat overwhelming.

I am very much looking forward to hearing some of these tracks live!

Oh and also, a cheeky little thing my mate noticed (all credit to him):

In the booklet, the lyrics to the end of 'Crushed Under...' are written as "suckling on the teat of the fucking enemy", but listening closely it sounds curiously like "...the fucking NME" Razz

Ooooohhhh!

Cracking stuff!

The stand out track as mentioned is definitely good luck, having shared an experience similar to the second verse it really stood out as an amazing song!

Crushed under the weight is ace, never heard anything so discordant, amazing! I love the rhythm on the build up 'all this 80's indie'

could talk about the album alot, but i'll leave it there.

Amazing album! much different to the other two a much more difficult listen but still good!

At 11am this morning I hear the post come through the door and then a thud. Shocked Could it be?

I've spent most of the day jumping up and down on my bed playing some songs on my air guitar and some on my real guitar.

I love it. Amazing, the lyrics are incredible!

My favourites so far are Suffocation of the Soul and Three Hail Marys, but every single track is brilliant, no doubt about it.

Yeh i agree with that totally. However its not one of those albums that you have to force yourself into. Theres enough there initially to make you want to listen again and then you pick up more.
Basically its genius. And the sleeping with a girl thing made me giggle too.
