sorry i disagree, prophets are good. true they lost a bit of cred when they appeared on totp. The first album was the best of the two but i wouldnt go as far to say they are shit. _________________ "Everybodys dead dave, Everybody is dead dave!" |

lol @ toni and guy. everyone will look the same as you if you go there!
one opened up in my town and suddenly everyone has the same haircut - which is annoying cause everyone seemed to have one the same as mine after it opened.,.so i went to drastic measures (1/2 there 1/2 not) and then someone asked me if i had it cut there grr!
i prefer lost pro's old stuff but there are a couple of tracks that are alrite on their new album - i love the lil solo on last summer.,.

I loved the old album and saw them in Newport (ooooh yeah) and then when this new album has come out it has become apparant that they have decided to conform to the world of emo.. but nevermind. I guess I just think it's okay now. _________________ If you say "Nothing left to lose", Then you have not lost your voice. |

I quite like the new prophets album. But I don't like their hair, they have a bit of a fashion mullet situation going on sometimes... _________________ My heart is held together with string and sellotape.

I don't like the way they went from filming their videos in multi-storey car parks in the UK to big places in the US. Bands that stick truely British are worthy of a lot more respect. |

i kinda see your point but if u were in a band and your manager said to you, right boys how about filming the next video in new york, would you honestly say nah we want to keep it real with our uk car park theme to keep it british!
hmmmm...
i hate the way there singer talks with a fake american accent at shows though!! _________________ No studio today, No Studio today |

then i listened to more of their music and it doesnt do it for me, simple as that |

haha lost prophets compared themselves to FNM?
hahahaha
they wish (FNM = genius)
i can't see any relationship with FNM but I do think that both albums are pretty good. i prefer the first issue of their first album... |

i think the main relationship between the two bands is mike pattons vocal style!!
you could say that for a lot of bands though such as glassjaw, incubus etc
i agree though i think both albums are good,i bought the original version of there first album for a fiver!
The second albums abit overproduced but then again i suppose they wanted it to sound slick for the american market.
i dont think there good live though _________________ No studio today, No Studio today |

comparing the lost prophets singer to mike patton is blasphemy...
yeah ok.. he sounds a little similar to one of patton's styles... but is nowhere near as diverse |

obviously the singer from lp is no where near as diverse, talented and godlike as mike pattern.
But i do think m.pattern is a v.strong influence on the way the guy from lp sings, particuly his melodic style, shown when he was in faith no more.rather than the side projects that i have heard. _________________ No studio today, No Studio today |
