A friend of mine plays in the afore mentioned band, pink cigar.
They're sort of rock 'n' roll/glam rock style wise, but I think they sound pretty dam awesome.

(my friend is sam the bassist,not the singer sam, in case you're curious)

so if you like them awesome come down and see a show, they're normally pretty small, so their cheap which is nice.

I remember someone mentioning something like that...
it's possible I haven't really spoken to sid he tends to keep himself to himself.
