Could some of the chosen few that have received their copy of WSHGTU talk about the interviews and the DVD section of the boxset?

I read somewhere that the DVD contains clips of Lissom Slo and Worn to Be Seen live from the studio, which would be awesome.

There is indeed the video to the recording of Lissom Slo, as well as Worn To Be Seen. It's the same video that was on the Jacobs studio website? The very video that the original, rather low quality, version of lissom slo which cicrulated was ripped from.

Obviously there's the Promo videos (including Blitzkrieg) and Download. On a personal level, it's nice to finally have the entire download set, the stream, as i remember kicked in part way through Blamethrower. There's also a bit of an intro to the download performance.

The Billy Talent Europe tour is an awesome little 25(ish) minute documentary. Just filmed by the guys on a little handi-cam. It's basically like a really long studio diary, just... on tour!

Finally there's a 25 minute interview with the guys, which I'm sure was available on the internet previously. I shall try and find that link but as for now I can't remember where i saw it.

That's it for content on the dvd.

Hope this helps out anyone who was interested.

Ah look, the site's back up Smile

Got mine through the other day. Everything's awesome, although watching that Designer Magazine interview is even more depressing watching it after the breakup and having read Jamie's interview. I just have it stuck in my head, Jamie saying something along the lines of 'generally we get so sick of playing now-a-days that we just play one song and fuck off'. Perhaps this was not so tongue-in-cheek as it first seemed? That said it was in the middle of the Sum 41 tour, so no wonder he seemed a bit shitty.

Loved the footage of the Billy Talent tour, looks like they had an awesome time, so it wasn't all bad in the final years.

The only significant missing track I can think of is that demo version of Banner Held High with the emphasis on the word 'sick' at the start. Oh and also mildly disappointed that the Download footage only showed a clip of KITY rather than the full song. That said, I'm loving:

- Finally having (legit) copies of the first three singles, Lissom Slo, Don't Die, Worn to be Seen and Red Machine
- Feel Good Inc
- Bite The Hand That Feeds
- Catch
- The Last Time

cheers for the pics bro!

so, is there a booklet?

No worries.

There is indeed a booklet. The drawing of the frankenstein monster (and wife?) opens out and has all of the liner notes within. There's a border of pictures of the guys from across the decade, and a pretty awesome collage in the centre fold. I like it alot. Would be awesome if the centre spread was made into a wallpaper for download.

i'll ask jamie about that.

LOVING this idea ^

EDIT: Oh and also, about that review from a few pages back, I'm generally in agreement with those who pointed out that this would be the natural opinion of a reviewer who didn't really know the band and has no interest / affiliation with the alt-metal scene (for want of a better phrase), but I also take the point that it was very poorly written and likely based on limited listening / viewing of the package.

Also, the emo reference is of course incredibly ignorant and insulting, but then I detest the use of this phrase for any music which isn't 'real' emo (Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, etc).

Flippin eck, is that because of the massive backlog of orders? Are they still being sent out?
