It would go in Misc where the Crawling Ear column is. That is... if it goes up at all. If it doesn't go up by next tuesday, I'm going to host it at hearnewmusic.blogspot.com
Not ideal but hey.
25 is lights out.
22 is not 'a shouty one'.
*shrug*
It was just something to pass the time. |

My guess at 22 would have to be "Good Luck"? _________________ Let's Fighting Love! |

I know it isn't a shouty one. I just meant that the 'clue' for it is as ambiguous as saying "It is a shouty one". It doesn't give any real clue. "Brilliantly written" Could really mean any Reuben song ever, and a lot of people connect to the a lot of their songs. I connect to Banner Held High and to me it is brilliantly written, but I'm pretty sure it isn't that. |

Why? It's one of their greatest songs. I was surprised Stuck In My Throat beat Short History, so much in fact that when I saw your post (before reading the list) I stopped when I got to Stuck In My Throat mistaking it for the number 1 song and agreeing with you, before going onto read the actual number 1. |

Haha. I was just so convinced it was going to be one of the two you mentioned, I didn't even consider the alternative, that it might be another Reuben song
But now, i've calmed down, it definitely was the right choice, especially if we're talking about Reuben's DEFINITIVE song. but from the article and your post, it feels like simt doesn't seemed to be as favoured as much as i originally thought
i love this youtube clip...&how everyone's singing along to every word (don't mind the fact we piss up towards the end)..ahh my first ever gig & someone caught it on film...oh reuben _________________ www.last.fm/user/thetzar |

nice to finally read the article, i can see why it took so long now.
it's a shame that there are quite a few factual errors there though (for example, shambles was on the first 500 copies of pilot, not 100 and was 2 minutes long because the song was unfinished, not because of studio time) |
