Really? I'm not sure I've ever seen him play a 5 string bass... I could just not have noticed though...

Going from the DLNA video, it looks like one of those.

Pretty sure it's a Boss Overdrive pedal.

I may have totally imagined this, but i think in Freddy Kreuger he uses one of these bad boys. http://www.apakistan.com/instrumentpro/live-sound/live-sound-power-amplifiers/gallien-krueger-diesel-dawg.html

Not sure if they are available in the UK.

yeh i thought it'd be either bass overdrive or some sort of fuzz just wanted to check if anyone actually knew
the diesel dawg looks cool i hope its a coincidence that the song is called freddy kreuger and he uses a gallien krueger pedal...

They are available in the UK, from a shop called dolphin music (google it), for around about 100 (+/- 20 quid or so). I know because I used to have one. It's pretty damn good, versatile but unfortunately didn't provide the exact tone of distortion I was looking for. It does look awesome, the blue LED is a nice touch, and it weighs absolutely tonnes for a pedal, you know it'll never come apart. Typical GK engineering really, built to last a lifetime.
