I must say, I was pretty underwhelmed.

I found myself lacking any real connection to their set list, there were a number of songs I didnt particularly like and they missed out some of my favourites.

Can you remember the names of the ones you didn't like? I know its gay when a band doesn't play you favourite tunes at a gig, but of course you can't always expect them too. The deal with this tour was to basically play a load of wierd songs (such as b-sides and demos), which was great for us geeks, but I guess not so great for many.

Jamie was hilarious but due to various things (the numer of their poppier songs they played, my age and the age of the crowd in general) it felt more like a birthday party

I'm not sure I understand this. Reuben fans are all over the age spectrum, and I felt the gig was fairly representative of that. Also I can't say I agree about them playing their 'poppier' songs, I thought it was a fair mix.

Now obviously I dont want to insult Reuben (who I truly do love) or their fans, but basically, does their setlist differ very often, do they switch it around alot?

In my experience it varies a lot tour-to-tour, but they sometimes play the same / a similar setlist for most dates on the same tour.

I really enjoed the set list. Highlights for me were Captain of Lies, which i thought was miles better live than on the Print is Dead CD.

It's the first time i heard Blitzkreig too, which was also rather brilliant.

Can't say i was a fan of the new acoustic song. Bit wet.
